The Queen’s speech is one of the most predictableand repetitivetelevision programmes of Christmas, according to an analysis.

根据一项分析，女王的演讲是圣诞节最可预见且重复性最高的电视节目之一。

Her Majesty has delivered 63 broadcasts to the nation since taking the throne in 1952.

自女王陛下于1952年登基以来，她已向全国发表了63次演讲。

But of the 42,000 words she has spoken, only 3,991 are distinct words which have never been repeated, according to mathematicians at University College London (UCL).

然而，根据英国伦敦大学学院数学家们的研究，在女王说过的4万2000词中，只有3991个不同词汇从未被复述过。

Focusing on nouns and phrases, and ignoring common words like ‘of’ and ‘the’, they found the speeches frequently use words such as ‘families’, ‘Commonwealth, ‘children’ and ‘peoples’.

聚焦名词和短语，忽略“of”和“the”这样的常用词汇，他们发现女王演讲时经常使用“家人”、“英联邦”、“儿童”和“民族”等词汇。

Other oft-repeated phrases included ‘tragic example’, ‘shining example’, and ‘weak and innocent’.

女王常讲的其他短语包括“不幸的例子”、“杰出的例子”以及“脆弱又无辜”。

Hannah Fry and Thomas Olron Evans, both of UCL, examines the speeches in a quest to ‘find out what Christmas really means to Her Majesty.’

Miss Fry said: ‘Since she came to the thronein 1952, the Queen has given 63 Christmas broadcasts, only failing to appear once in 1969 when she issued a written message.”

弗里女士说：“自从女王于1952年登基以来，她发表了63次圣诞演讲，只有1969年没有露面，那年她发表了一篇书面讯息。”

‘She could have said a lot in that time but if you analyse the text she has actually said very little and often repeated herself.’

“演讲的时候，她本来可以说很多内容的，但是，如果你分析一下她的演讲文本，（你就会发现）实际上她说的很少，而且经常在重复自己说过的话。”

‘There are words about time, about society and some religious words ... all very good and noble of course, but also a bit dull and repetitive.’
