tireless effort：超级实用的词组。下一次翻译「孜孜不倦」、「不辞辛劳」这样的词组就又多了一个选择。tireless：tire+less。类似的构词法有：careless；meaningless……

unbelievable：难以置信的。这个词的来源是这样的：believe（相信）→believable（可信的）→unbelievable（难以置信的）。它的近义词是：incredible。

cast and crew：注意，cast指的是演员团队，而crew指的是幕后团队如摄像、剧务、音效等等。所以cast and crew指的是整个剧组的人。

alongside：注意。alongside在这里是一个介词，所以我们直接可以说work alongside sb。sb之前不用加with。

man：这里的用man的单数形式表示「全人类」，用法相对特殊。

collectively：一起（副词）。我们常说的集体主义：collectivism。

urgent：紧急的。名词urgency。

face：做动词，意为「面临」。

species：原意「物种」，当然这里指的是人类。

procrastinating：难词，但是很常用，意为「拖延」。名词形式procrastination，就是我们常说的「拖延症」。

billion：记住啊，是十亿！不是一亿！所以啊，5亿，别一不小心翻译成5 billion。10亿以下更常见的说法是转换成million：500 million。如果数字在10亿以上，那就用billion，比如，15亿，就是1.5 billion。

underprivileged：穷困潦倒的。

DiCaprio continued: "We need to support leaders around the world who do not speak for the big polluters or the big corporations, but who speak for all of humanity, for the indigenous people of the world, for the billions and billions of underprivileged people who will be most affected by this. For our children's children and for those people out there whose voices have been drowned out by the politics of greed, I thank you all for this amazing award tonight.
